Browser & web workflows

Alex Chen

Lives in tabs. Finishes the read-it-later queue on principle.

Chicago, IL

Covers browsers, extensions, and reading workflows for people whose internet diet is mostly links they meant to open later.

About

Alex treats the browser like an operating system—which is either healthy or a problem, depending on who you ask. The beat is extensions that fix real annoyances, read-it-later systems that don't become guilt warehouses, and the slow work of making the web less loud.

Before writing here, Alex spent years in front-end development and still profiles pages when a site feels sluggish. Recommendations get tested on a normal laptop, not a demo machine.

Believes RSS is not dead, just unfashionable. Will not apologize for that.
